Mariposa Brillante

Mariposa, a distinct collection of fine-quality serveware and tableware, was founded by Livia Cowen, a zealous collector of aluminum serving pieces, flatware, ceramics and handcrafted glassware. Since its origin, the home base of Mariposa has been located in Manchester-by-the-Sea, a charming small coastal town in Cape Ann, Massachusetts.

Livia travels to remote villages around the globe to meet with artisans, studying their skills before bringing their original, one-of-a-kind designs back to the United States to make the unique and distinctive pieces of each Mariposa gift. In addition to searching global artisians, Mariposa also retains some of its own designers, who work in partnership with regional artisans throughout the country.

This eye-catching collection of sand-cast aluminum serveware include wine accessories, elaborate platters, ornamental serving bowls, intricate serving trays, salad accessories, and more. Whatever your entertaining style may be, the wide range of styles, themes, and distinctiveness offered by Mariposa is sure to satisfy. Designed by sculptor Michael Updike, each Mariposa gift item is created by hand one at a time from 100% recycled aluminum and polished to a gleaming silver finish.
